Character Name: Rob Lewis
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Birthplace: Warwick, England (UK)
Physical Appearance (Photo or description):
Family: Lucy Lewis (Wife – status unkown) and Jude Lewis (Son – status unknown)
Likes: Football, numbers, geometry, physics, statistics, pool, rugby, drinking, and poker.
Dislikes: Mornings, American football, Zombies
Strengths: Rob is very well educated and can prove to be an asset in a tough situation and a good body to have in a fight. His aim is normal but has gotten much better in the new zombie infested world as he has had plenty to practice on.
Weaknesses: Rob can at times let his anger get the best of him and he also has a rather bad habit of jumping head long into situations without properly thinking them out first. He thinks more with his heart then with his head at times.
Weapon Of Choice (Within reason): handgun
Personality: Rob has always been very laid back and takes life for what it is. He isn’t a very confrontational person and for the most part tries to lighten the mood with some humor or what not. He does have a temper but it is very rare that it ever reaches the surface.
History: Rob was born in Warwick, England and grew up there as well. When he turned 18 he packed up his things and decided he would set off to America and start his life out there instead of keeping with the trend of being born and dying in Warwick.
Rob attended school at Penn State and graduated with a degree in structural engineering. It was during his time at Penn that he met the woman who would later become his wife. Rob loved Lucy more then he could ever think possible and he would give anything for her.
Rob received a job at a local cell phone tower company and he quickly became good friends with Neil Musial.
Rob and Lucy lived in a small house after their wedding and 2 years after Lucy became pregnant with their first child. Lucy gave birth to Jude Robert Lewis 2 months before the zombie outbreak.
Life had been as normal as possible the day of the outbreak and Rob had been in his office speaking on the phone with Lucy who was going to the airport to pick up Rob’s sister who was flying in from Warwick that morning when a deafening crash filed the airwaves and the cell phone went dead. That would be the last time Rob Lewis heard from his wife or his son.
The moment the phones went dead the alarms began to sound and Rob went with Neil to figure out what in the blazes had happened. Neil and his Rob ran up to the fourth floor where the corporate offices. They found the company’s CEO, Vice President and a secretary watching the zombie massacre from a window that overlooked the building’s front and that was the first time Rob knew that all hell had broken loose in the world they knew.
The five were prepared to lock themselves on the floor when a man, followed by a pack of zombies, staggered out of the elevator. Neil, Rob, the secretary and the CEO ran for the staircase, but the Vice President stayed behind and was torn apart.
On the rooftop they were rescued by a military helicopter and taken to a rescue station in nearby Crafton. The entire time Rob tried as hard as he could to reach Lucy but much like Neil he had no luck in getting through to his wife.
A military dispute led to the station being overrun by zombies. The group made their way to the city, where they joined with another group of survivors and took refuge on the 47th floor of the US Steel building.
The survivors lived in the upper floors of the building, taking turns using the subway tunnels under the river to retrieve supplies from the South Side, Station Square, and a few nearby South Hills towns.
Rob kept close to Neil being that his friend was literally the only person he had left in the world. He ventured out on what many could have seen to be a suicide mission back to his old house to see if by chance there was a sign of Lucy or Jude but the house was in shambles and smoldering and Rob barely made it back tot eh building alive.
After his trip to his house Rob pulled into himself not speaking to anyone or doing much of anything save for trying to survive for reasons he didn’t even know. He eventually became extremely sick with a bout of an odd strain of phenomena and was locked away in a room to die. Neil came to see him during the weeks he suffered through the sickness with not much medicine to help him along his way in either direction. But surprisingly he recovered at least some what though he still remains rather weak at times from the toll the sickness took upon him.
Even though time has passed on Rob still refuses to give up hope that his wife, son and older sister are dead.
