Strengths: Ava loved outdoors activities before the outbreak. Now she’s putting them to good use.
Weaknesses: helping other people-Ava is a nurse and naturally wants to care for others. But you can’t save everyone, nor can you be nice to everyone.

Personality: Ava is very outspoken and can easily take care of herself. She can easily take out zombies and will tell someone if they are putting her or themselves into a dangerous situation.
History: Ava is a graduate of Duquesne University's nursing program. As an RN, she took a job at a smaller hospital in Canonsburg, Pa about 30 minutes outside of Pittsburgh. She resided in a lovely townhouse near the hospital with her husband Neil, a structural engineer.
Two days before the outbreak went out of control, Ava's grandfather died. She drove from Pittsburgh to Iowa City via the Ohio Turnpike, Cleveland and across Indiana. In the back seat of her Ford Focus Wagon, Ava kept her mountain bike for when she and Neil went riding along the South Side River Trail on Sunday afternoons. She didn't realize how important it would become.
Ava was staying at her grandfather's house with a cousin when the neighborhood became infiltrated by zombies. Her cousin panicked and drove off alone in hopes of getting home to Nebraska to her children.
Ava started to drive out of town, but she got stuck in downtown Iowa City. Quickly, she grabbed her bike out of the car's trunk and biked to a nearby mall. There, she took shelter in a Gander Mountain store with a larger group of survivors. There, the survivors stocked up on weapons. Half of the group wanted to remain in the mall, but Ava went with the group who wished to leave. They headed towards Notre Dame, Indiana, on bike.
In the course of their drive, eight of the ten original group members were killed. Ava and another man, William Jeffs, made it to the center of Indiana, but split up. Ava hasn’t seen him since.
Ava took shelter in a refugee camp run by the military. There, she learned that the city of Pittsburgh was supposedly barricaded by its trademark three rivers and that survivors had taken refuge in the city itself. Ava set off with a pack of camping gear, some ammunition, a rifle, a handgun, a knife and her bike. Ever since, she has been making her way through the back roads and small towns, trying to get home and find out if Neil is alive or dead.
However, a wrench was thrown into Ava's plans when she met up with an ex convict named Dean Winchester. The two shared a brief relationship together before zombies parted them. 9 months later, Ava gave birth to a son Zachary Dean Winchester-now 6 months. She has not seen Dean since their brief time together. Her last few months have been focused on keeping Zach safe.
Ava still wonders if her husband is alive, as well as her baby's father. She'd like for Zach to know his father, and she'd like to see her husband again.

Sample Post: Ava awoke to the sound of a rooster crowing. When she found farms, she found that it was safer to skim the house in the daylight for supplies and to sleep in a smaller outbuilding at night. Houses had too many doors and windows to protect. Outbuildings usually had one or two. This time, she had settled for the chicken coop, complete with live chickens.
