History: Amber Nicole Pierce was born in New York City. Her parents were both members of a band which toured the world and met on the tour. Her mother had quadruplets from a previous relationship-Jared, Julianne, Daniel and Daniella-all who were older than Amber.
When Amber was 2 years old, her parents retired from the band and moved to Buffalo, NY so that she could have a normal, middle class childhood. Her father was an architect and her mother worked in advertising. Her siblings went off to college-Jared to Penn State University, Juli to NYU, Dan and Dani to USC-Berkeley.
Shortly before the outbreak, Amber and her parents took a vacation to Las Vegas, NV. The family was nearing the end of their week long vacation when word of the outbreak began to spread.
The morning the outbreak hit Vegas, Amber woke up in her hotel room. Her mother was on the phone talking to Dan who was at home in Buffalo on spring break. Her father was watching television with Amber and the two were frightened by what they saw. Amber’s father decided they needed to go home, and booked the next flight to Buffalo.
On the cab ride to the airport, Amber saw that the zombies were clearly beginning to overrun the city. But she kept telling herself that soon she would be safe on an airplane home an all would be ok.
Amber and her parents reached the airport, but as they were heading towards security, people began screaming. Looking back, Amber saw a group of zombies stumbling into the terminal. Her father grabbed her mother and her mother grabbed Amber. The three started to run, but Amber suddenly dropped the stuffed penguin she had been carrying. Since her father had won it for her at an arcade only a few days before, she let go of her mother and ran back to retrieve it. When she looked up, her parents were gone and zombies were coming towards her. Clutching both her penguin and her carry on bag, Amber ran through the airport.
She made her way to a Holiday Inn just outside the airport. Amber saw a few planes take off, but she didn’t know if any of them were her parents’ plane or not. In the hotel, Amber encountered another group of survivors and lived in the hotel with them. She missed her parents constantly and wondered if they and her siblings were alive or dead. The family had heard from Dan, but none of the other three.
Amber was fine until a zombie outbreak broke up the group she was living with. When the member she was closest to were killed, Amber took off on her own. Deciding it would be easiest just to make her way back into the city, she headed towards downtown Las Vegas.
Amber met up in Vegas with another group of survivors, but that didn't last long when that group was attacked. An older couple and their son and daughter in law hurried Amber out of the city with them. They began walking towards California, taking cars when they could.
They group fell apart after the older man died of a heart attack. His son was attacked by zombies soon afterwards and his wife committed suicide. Amber and their daughter in law made it to Hollywood, CA. The two got separated a few weeks back, so Amber has been on her own again. She headed for the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, hoping that she would find more survivors, and be able to connect with classic Hollywood even if the city was in ruins.

For a moment, her eyes filled with tears, but she quickly wiped them away. Sighing, Amber started walking. She would settle into one of the casinos or something. But what would she do after that?
